POLYGLOW™ PREMIUM GRADE GLOW STONES FOR CONCRETE:

PolyGlow™ glow stones are the ultimate in luminosity.

We manufacture PolyGlow™ in a 5-15mm size grading which is ideal for the concrete-based applications for which it has been designed to be used in.

Our stones are fully infused with the active compound Strontium Aluminate in a highly concentrated form during manufacturing.

One kilogram goes a fair way. You would generally use approximately 100 - 200 grams seeded per m2 for exposed aggregate / polished & honed concrete applications.

The average recommended seed rate is 120 grams per m2. 200 grams of PolyGlow™ seeded per m2 is quite a heavy coverage.

This stronger effect is popular when applying near pool surrounds, fire pit surrounds, polished concrete furniture / bench tops, stepping stones and the like. (Not always but generally smaller sized spaces.)

Logos and patterns are typically seeded at stronger rate depending on the desired outcome.

You may adjust this quantity as per your requirements.

At this seed rate of 120grams per m², 1kg will cover an area of 8.3m2.

The amount of product that you use is a matter of personal choice and the quantities listed are purely a guide.

You can go lighter or heavier depending on your requirements. For example, seeding at 100 grams per m2, 1kg will cover an area of 10m2. Seeding at 200 grams per m2, 1kg will cover an area of 5m2.

PolyGlow™ Glow in the dark Stones are a premium quality glow stone designed specifically for use in concrete applications such as polished, honed and exposed aggregate concrete. These stunning stones can also be used for crafts, mosaics & garden features.

During manufacture, the PolyGlow™ aggregates have had a photoluminescent compound added into the raw material. This allows them to absorb light and then emit that light as a soft glow during darkness. Exposure of around 30 minutes will give a glow time of up to 12 hours. The glow starts off brightly and diminishes as the night progresses. The photoluminescent compound, strontium aluminate, has a cycle life of at least 10 years and is not radioactive.

The brightness of the glow emitted by Photoluminescent aggregates are effected by their surrounding environments. Put simply, the darker the night, the brighter they glow. For instance, if you have a street light or a bright moon present, the brilliance of the glow will appear less than it would in a darker setting. PolyGlow™ Stones work best when placed under a direct light source for charging during the day.

We manufacture PolyGlow™ so that you don’t know that they're a glow in the dark aggregate until they actually glow in the dark.

The look of a plastic type material in concrete is not particularly sought after nor aesthetically pleasing.
