Are concrete bench tops a good choice?

Concrete bench tops are a good choice for many reasons. They can be customised to your exact requirements and aesthetic result you are looking for. Concrete benches are highly resistant to heat and staining. To avoid damage to the sealer it is recommended to never put a hot pan or dish directly onto the bench top. Concrete bench tops are considered a premium choice and add value to your home.

Can I use concrete to make furniture?

Absolutely. Concrete is a very durable material for furniture like tables, chairs and bench seats. Keep in mind that like other building materials concrete can chip if it sustains a hard impact.

Can I get my outdoor concrete furniture wet?

Yes – though you must apply a high quality sealer. Concrete is long lasting and can withstand the outdoor elements. Keep in mind it is porous so like other outdoor furniture it has the potential to stain if left in the elements without adequate protection.
